Slugs

 

INDICATORS:

  • On the surface: chewed leaves and stalks
  • Underground: seeds and bulbs are destroyed
  • Traces of shiny slime on their trail

BEHAVIOUR:

  • Require a damp environment to move around and survive
  • Do not feed under 5° C

OUR ADVICE:

In the evening, in damp periods or after watering plants, spread pellets on the surface evenly without making piles.

 

Size : From 3 to 5 cm (grey or black slug)
             to 15 cm (red slug)

1 to 2 generations per year, from 150 to 400 eggs.
(hatch immediately)

Life expectancy: from 8 to 16 months
